Heres another oh so precious little Miss C! This was a one year, so we did a cake smash at the end. I still laugh thinking back on how she was ever so dainty at picking the icing off, completely not getting the whole cake SMASH concept. What a doll.

I have no excuses. I have been an awful blogger, and this is going to be my attempt to catch up! Life is busy, but I'm hoping to make this a part of the routine so that I don't fall so far behind anymore.

so here I go, letting it get all piled up on me before I add more!
But better late then never! I will try to keep it organized, and they wont' be in the order of how I shot them, but I'll keep them separate posts for you!
This first post here is of my gorgeous friends little newborn! You might remember her from a few posts ago, the perfect belly for a perfect little lady. :)
Sweet little H just stared at me the whole time, even though she was only days old! We tried again a few days later, and finally got her sleeping for a few shots, but I sure didn't mind capturing those gorgeous lashes and dark dreamy eyes either!

Whoops forgot to mention about the awesome hot pink wedding!
The bride is a florist, so of course she had picked out the most fabulous color flower anyone could eveer find. This couple was so incredibly in love, we spent all day together and I could have just kept going. I will be posting more of them once they have a chance to preview some images, so thats all of H and C for now!
P.S. the headbands with the big flowers were a little project of mine the last few days I think i'm liking where this is going! Let me know if you have a princess or two who would love to have one for herself!

Hey you!
So i've had the quite the day to day! I had my cutie patootie nephew over for the day to play with Tamikka, and every Wednesday the two of them go to a 45 minute reading class at the library so I was going to take them. So we get all dolled up, get in the car and I start backing up and all of a sudden I feel a thump as the car sinks lower, and hear a grinding crunch. Of course I slam on my brakes and run all around my car, peeking underneath to see what I could have hit that I didn't see!
Thankfully, I hadn't hit anything, but the ball joint on the passenger side front had broken. I'm so thankful that no one got hurt and that I hadn't been on the highway, or even just in town when it happened.
Because of our lovely nieghbor the kids still got to go the class and we had wonderful walk home, with a pit stop at the park! All in all the kids had a good time. Ha ha ha.
So we'll be car shopping now! Crossing my fingers we find what we're looking for soon!
But on to better things, Mikka got her first bike helmet yesterday and I finally felt ok with her cruising down our street. So we strapped it on and let her go. And man did she go! I snapped a few shots, one below of her. And then the inevitable. She flipped forward over the handlebars because she turned too fast. Whoops! New scratch on the new helmet in record time! Again, so thankful she was wearing one! Put it to good use. : ) Naturally she cried and refused to ride, so I made her pick up her bike, get back on and kept pushing her until the screaming subsided and the smile was back on her face. And then the screaming started all over when it was time to get off and inside! Ha ha.
But on to other photography related things, I had the privalage of shooting 2 wonderful women a few weeks ago. These girls are twin sisters and thought it'd be something fun and memorable to do a shoot as a birthday thing this year! And we did have fun. Sliding through a bit of mud, getting cold wet feet to get to "the perfect" spot. But it was all worth it! I wish all sisters had the terrific bond that the two of these have. It is irreplacable, nothing like it. Check out the sneak peek below of A and K. Happy birthday girls! Lets make this a yearly tradition!
I also took on a short notice shoot for a young aspiring model! She has all the natural beauty anyone could ask for, and a spirit that would get you millions if you could bottle it up and sell it. See below here, M is the one with the gorgeous smile and the eyes that sparkle forever. : )

Don't you all LOVE the weather we've been having? I know I do! It has made for such amazing shoots outside, with the most lovely lighting you could ask for.
On another note, most of you readers may be familiar with the contest I was holding. There will be 2 winners, toddlers, who are willing to get down and dirty. : )
The contest ended this evening and I am having so much trouble trying to decide on which ones, (there were so many unbelievable, sweet, funny stories told!) that I just can't do it. So I have decided to make it simple, since each and every one of these kids are so deserving! I am drawing 2 names out of hat!

Hello world!
It has been far too long since I have connected on here. We have had a whirlwind of a life these last few months.
Last month, my father-in-law passed away of cancer. He had been unwell for many years already, so we took the time to go to Texas and spend most of December and some of January there with them. It was a rough time for all of the family, so I appreciate all the support and prayers that came our way, as well as the patience my clients have had with me! One never truly knows until they have been there, so thank you all.
But we have been back for a week now, and I am diving right back into work! I decided to stay with my last years price list, so for those that had sessions last year, you'll know and those that are booking this year, I can email it to you!
I have quite a few sessions that I did not get around to posting , so those will be coming here and there.
But those sneak peeks will have to wait! (my computer is being silly and not wanting to upload.)
I will try again tomorrow!

Ok so I'm back, full of perogies and farmer sausage and ready to post some more pictures!So I had the chance to shoot for alot of family in this last little while and I always have such a great time doing that!
There was both my nephew and my niece that I did on the same day. Aren't they soooo adorable?? I love them both so much, I just wish I spent even more time with them!

And speaking of family, ours is just about to get 6 ft bigger! Congratulations Susie and Will, so happy to have you in our family! The wedding is set for sometime in March, can't wait!

Here is a newborn, just days old. Sweet little J...... I would love to have just stuck her in my bag and snuck off home with her! What a princess.

And we finally took the opportunity to take some family pictures of us! It was about time. The tripod set up was a little hard to do this year, because we have our "lil" pup to consider, and getting a 3 year old to smile into basically nothing is harder then it seems! But all in all, they turned out ok!

And here's just a few from the last little while, giving you a sneak peek into my life! I've got another few that I'm waiting on an ok to post, but hopefully those will be coming up in the next few days as well!

I'm not very good at keeping up by blog, am I? : ( I'm sorry, but now that the little Christmas picture rush is done, I will be on here more often!
First, some of you may know this, but Tamikka donated her hair! We had talked about it for a while, and she was a little unsure, thinking that if she gave her hair away, then she wouldn't have any left, but one day she overheard me saying to a friend on the phone that it would be going to Angel Hair Organization, and hearing that , she had been SUPER excited! See, she connected that to her sister, Angel, in Heaven. And Angels 5th birthday would have been October 24, so what better way to celebrate then to send her her hair! So we went in bright and early Saturday morning and off it went! She made sure she told the hairdresser that it had to be mailed to her sister, and she sat so nicely throughout the whole process, I was so proud of her! No tears! (well, from her. I couldn't help it.) It was alot harder for me then it was for her I'm sure! So here are a few pics I took of the process. I love you soooooo much baby girl, and I am prouder then punch! Isn't the new cut just absolutely darling???

(Oh and for those of you that think she did a fabulous job, it was Amy, from Studio 500. She's amazing!) But I could go on and on and on forever about my princess, so I will just stop here for today, and on to others!

Here are a few shots from some of the weddings I did this past month. All fantastic couples! It was dreary and wet on each one of there days, but by the love in their eyes, and their sheer happiness on their day, you would have never known we all had 2 inches of mud stuck to our feet! Enjoy!

I also had a chance to hang out with some of my very favorite people in the world over Thanksgiving! We took some time out of chick-flicks and eating junk food to enjoy the gorgeous day we had and I got some awesome shots from some pretty awesome people! Love you gals!

And here is a shoot that I really like to look back on. This lovely couple came to me to make sure that they got some shots of where there love had gotten them! They were expecting their baby within a month and half (roughly) when we got together and boy were we ever lucky! It was only days later that their little sweetheart made her appearance! I guess she was just too cramped and anxious to meet the 2 people that were just as anxious to meet her!
I also recently shot my sister and her great group of girls in a fun, grungy style! They were up for anything, and all of them have so much personality and spark. I had TONS of fun with them, and overall it was a great evening with tons of laughs!

well I have to go make lunch now for me and little one, but I'll be back on this afternoon, with a few more shoots!!! Check back!!!

Hello all!
I really let time fly by! Sorry, about that! But here I am ready to update!
So lets see, what have I all been up to lately? Why don't you take a look! This first post is of a lovely couple who I shot on there wedding day, rather short notice. I think I booked it about 7 days before hand? Ha ha but all in all, it went great!
I also did a sweet little family of 3! You can see how little W absolutely dotes on his daddy! Complete adoration. And we had such a gorgeous day for it as well.
The next wedding was a bit blustery and raining, but the whole party were such great sports and we still got a ton of great shots! Congrats J and K! Both of who looked especially dashing I must say. ; )
I think they are still on their honeymoon, but as soon as I hear back from them that they have seen the sneak peek, then I'll post those for you to see as well!
I have a few more shoots to post, but I will save that for later, as I still have tons of editing to do! so please keep checking back!!!

Ahhhhh the last day of the week. The day to relax, put up your feet with a cold drink in your hand.
HA. I wish!! I've got such a full day today, I just might go crazy. First, I've got my house to clean, it's upside down and sideways! I don't know how it happens, I swear I just cleaned it all a few days ago, and yet.........And then at one I'm doin a few headshots for a friend of mine who's needing BUSINESS cards. Yay J! I'm so proud of you for making it this far!! I hope these business cards will help expand your business so that one day you can be the one turning people away because your so busy!! And to everyone else out there, if your buying or selling a house, I know the best person to go to!! Maybe I'll have a sneak peek up later tonight! ; )
After that, I'll be heading out to shoot the cutest family ever. I hope the day stays nice! I have so many ideas for them!
When that is done I have 2 appointments with clients, 2 drop off orders and maybe dropping off 2 tutu's! Yikes.
So yes, today is busy busy busy. But what is life without busy?
I love every minute of it and I wouldn't trade my busy day for just any lazy one.
So I should get started. I'll just leave you with a few of the sessions I've done lately.

So I was going to post more pics of Mikka, and then the day just flew by me! We ended up moving my hun's stuff out of the office, he now uses the ugly unfinished basement as his toy room and I now have my very own office! Yay! Thank you sweetie, I love love love you! And he even left his desk in here. What a babe.
So here is and update on my Sweet Pea. She is 3, sassy, adorable, too much attitude and the mind of a 16 year old. Enjoy!

Wow this past week has been a little of the best and worst weather! That is MB for you!
But even with the storms and the extreme heat I managed to fit in a few sessions. I am still waiting on confirmation from 2 of them to post, but here is another lovely family I shot on there own yard. I love there yard. I am so tempted to evict them and just move in. But because I love them and don't want them to be homeless, I won't. ; )

Hmmm sorry bout the last post there, not sure what was all going on. Basically I was going to say the first wedding pics there are of an amazing couple, M and L, who I had the privilege of shooting for this past weekend. Isn't L gorgeous? The whole wedding was very small, intimate and perfect and I feel so lucky to have been there to witness them promise there lives to each other. I must admit I had a tear or two!
Then the second post was another peek at the grunge shoot I did a little while ago. I am having sooo much fun with the processing on those, I get to step out of my regular editing zone and try some new stuff, which I love! So hope you enjoyed the pics, and I PROMISE I will keep more up to date!
I dropped my dog off at the vet today and I will be picking her up tomorrow. We just wanted to ensure that we dont' deal with an unwanted puppies, seeing as how we live in town! I miss her already. : (
Tomorrow I will also be baby sitting for my sweet little friend A again! Can hardly wait! She gets cuter every time I see her, and we'll see if she sits for some more photo op's too!! He he he

Phew, i'm back!
I have been BUSY! Not only with pictures, just life in general.
I finally finished my daughters chandelier and canopy for her bed! I am very very happy with how they both turned out, and can't wait to take a few pics of it for you guys! I will be doing that tonight, after I clean her room. Ha ha ha.
I also sewed my very first, all on my own, curtains! We have been waking up whenever the sun rises for the past year and a half, and I decided it was finally time to buys some curtains. I unfortunately didn't buy quite enough grommets though, so i'll be heading up town to pick up the last few, get those on and then I'll DEF take a pic! I'm super proud! : )
Then there were also the tutu's that seemed to be quite popular this past week. I made a few of those for clients and man did they ever turn out cute! My daughter said they were her "favortist ones in the world that you ever made". ; ) So thats always a good feeling! I'm sure they will super duper cute on the little clients wearing them as well!
But for now, let me give you guys a look into what i've been busy with shoot wise.
This first one is something I did with a friend, A. She stopped by and my gal was napping so we figured why not?!

And then I had an awesome session with this awesome family!! These kids are so cute and I can see where they get it from! There parents are terrific and all in all it was a great evening.

I also had the opportunity to shoot this fabulous family from the city! I'm so glad we found time to do it and the weather cooperated which is always a bonus. : )

Hey all, I've been terribly busy this past week catching up on everything, I had so much editing I was falling behind on, books to order, print orders to place etc, etc. I am just about caught up now, but I have to keep working hard to stay that way! I have a wedding today and a family both tomorrow and Sunday, and I am aiming on having all those done, plus edits done, PLUS all my photocards that need creating (10 and counting) by next Friday! So I will def try to get back on here during the week yet to give you some sneak peeks of all i've been doing this past week or so, but for now, I gotta run!!!! (don't forget to check back, some of these sneak peeks are gonna be AWESOME!)

OK, so I've had a pretty busy week!!! I did some awesome shoots this week and I'm so excited to show you!! First of all, I did a sweet little baby, only 5 days old on Tuesday! He was a bit fussy, so we didn't get a lot, but I'm planning on going back for round 2 in a few days!
Then that same evening, I headed down to Morden and had the opportunity to take pictures for a dear friend of mine and her husband for their one year anniversary! The love they show each other is so clear and true and honest. They are defiantly a couple that I admire. Here is a sneak peek at there shoot! Thank you P and R for the inspiration you guys are!!

And then on Wednesday, I did a ton of work on editing, making cards, ordering books etc etc, but evening is where I had my most fun! As some of you many know, I also make Custom Tutu's for little girls! Either for dress up , or props for pictures! So I enlisted a few friends to let me use their sweet angels for some new fresh advertising for those tutus'! Take a look at these pumpkins!!!

So if you or someone you know has a sweet heart, who loves to dress up, a tutu is an awesome gift idea! I customize to size and colors, and they are all adjustable so your little one can wear it for years!
And then there was Friday. What a day it was! I did a something that I've never done before, and I had a blast! Thanks to the wonderful model, N, I got some terrific artsy style photos that I am having sooooo much fun editing! Now these are not your typical portraits that you would hand out to your family and friends. This was something a lot more suited for a CD cover, or poster on your wall! We had some amazing locations, and fantastic lighting that added to the afternoon. I got so many frames, that I will be spending days going through them and figuring out which ones to edit! So far i edited this one, because it really popped out at me while I was browsing through them. So there will be more to come , but for now, ENJOY! : )

Wow have I ever had a crazy day!! Crazy but good. Finally feel recovered from the flu I had a few days ago, and my energy seems to be almost back to norm. As for yesterday, wow! I am NEVER going to go to any event, parade or any other without proper preparation!!! It was simply awful, well for me and Henry it was. Mikka didn't seem to mind it. : )
But onto today. I had a lovely session with a lovely client. Ms. M is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!! I spent the majority of the day with her and our mutual friend, E , came along for support! We had a blast and I don't think I have ever done such a large amount of photos, and editing in the time I did it today! She left with her pictures in hand, something that rarely happens! Lucky you Ms. M! He he he

Hi all,

So I've had one of those days.......sadly. : (
Things are never as they seem, and that sucks. Sometimes the world just sucks. So now I feel like buying new shoes. See, didn't that make you smile? It makes me smile. I like shoes.
But.... enough moping. Since I can't go buy shoes, (I'm parked in) I will either work on some wedding pics or maybe finish the canopy I found for Mikkas room. Either way, throw in a cup of coffee and I'm back to me!
And isn't' this chandelier just the purtiest thing you ever seen? This is the inspiration for the one I am working on for Tamikka!
Oh and almost forgot, I LOVE my husband!!

Hello!
I have just come back from a gorgeous wedding. The bride was absolutely stunning, and the way the groom could not get his eyes off of her was the sweetest thing! There is no doubt in anyone's mind how in love they are. I'll be starting the work on there pictures soon! Either later today or tomorrow I'll have a sneak peek up!
And the babysitting yesterday went terrific! Little miss A. is an angel, plain and simple. She spent her time here patting the puppy, coloring, and brushing the "Paaaraaancis" hair. ; )

Thanks to Alesha, I'm learning more and more about the blogging world! If you've seen my blog before, you'll notice the new header. So today is going to be an interesting day. I will be babysitting the CUTEST little girl, my first time. We'll see how this goes! I hope Tamikka behaves!

Well hello! Yesterday was another busy day, and today is slightly more laid back so time to catch up! Tamikka had her swim graduation today and she did AWESOME! With a little 'help' from a friend, she made the leap off the diving board! I am prouder then punch of her! She is alot braver then her mommy! I was so into watching the jump that I failed to get it on film. : (
But it is seared in my memory forever. I love that little monkey.
Going on, I finished the session of sweet little Miss L that I did on Tuesday. She was an angel, as you can see in the previous sneak peek of her. I spent roughly an hour with her, half the time she was getting in and out of clothes or lying naked outside and not a peep! I am getting those "I wanna another baby" feelings just from looking at these pics! Enjoy!

I had a fantastic-ly busy day yesterday that left me exhausted today. Don't you just love love love those days? Started out with Mikka's swim lesson, (she's doing GREAT btw) , then lunch in the park with some dear friends followed by full afternoon of splashing in the local pool, chasing slippery kids, and cuddling up in towels to dry off. And then off to the city SHOPPING! I got the cuuuutest pair of boots that I cannot WAIT to wear. They are soft, and grey, and have itty bitty heels that I adore, all of the above I heart. : )
Time to clean now, get that laundy done , and maybe even some supper plans made, and there's always sessions I should be working on, so have a great day and visually enjoy my boots! ; )

I had a fantastic session today with sweet little L. She has the most gorgeous brown locks, I just wanted to take her home and brush her hair all day! I will try to post a sneak peek if I can figure out how this works!

Wow I am awful at this blogging thing! I must must must figure this all out and keep up to date!
I actually forgot I had a blog.... how sad. I truly will try harder this time though. I have been extremely busy with getting married, shooting weddings, regular sessions, orders, being a mom etc these past few months, so I have lots of pics to post! I will slowly add some here and there if I can figure this out! : ) Hold me accountable!

Ok, so i'm not very good at this blogging thing. But to be fair, I have been super busy. I've had 3 shoots in 3 days, and they were all 3 urgent, and needed to be done within the week. So there. : )
I should actually be working on the last one right now, but I really needed a break. So here I am! As soon as the 'shootees' have gotten there pics, I will be posting! I am going to try to post at least 3 pics a week, lets see if I can keep up!

Wow, so this is what blogging is all about.....

I have been thinking about starting up a blog, and I figured it was finally time to do it. Not that I have any more time on my hands lately. In fact, I don't know how I will keep up with this, but there are so many times I would love to look back at my day, and share with people, and this seems the perfect way to do it! So I don't REALLY know what I'm doing here, but I hope it will be interesting enough for you to check in once in a while!!
